Your Mission:

You will thrive in this diverse people operations role, supporting functions such as payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, operational administration and more, touching all areas of the ‘people function’. This is a ‘roll up your sleeves’ opportunity to get involved in grass roots people operations strategies and programs.   You will contribute to culture-development initiatives, and our people-focused initiatives that enable and motivate our colleagues to do awesome things.

As a crew member, your role is to:

  • Provide operational support for all payroll, benefits, data tracking and reporting.
  • Provide support for talent attraction and recruiting activities, including phone screening, research, meeting coordination, and providing an overall high-quality hiring experience.
  • Participate in the development of onboarding and integration programs, working with stakeholders to ensure a high-quality experience that sets up our colleagues for success.
  • Be a culture champion by participating in enabling committees (social, volunteer, etc.) and influencing our team members to be active participants in creating a culture of performance, results, learning, transparency, community, and collaboration.
  • Provide support on the research, design, and development of HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy, using expert knowledge of the client area.
  • Provide guidance and input on organizational issues, and collaborate with leaders and employees to drive a culture of diversity and inclusion.
  • Identify trends through research, analytics, and devise action plans to resolve organizational issues.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance on application of policies and procedures.

 

You make our crew stronger with the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field; and hold a CHRL / CHRP.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working within software / solutions teams, with international operations.
  • Well-developed experience of several areas of human resource disciplines including payroll, benefits, operational management, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
  • Demonstrated capability in supporting business through transformation and change.
  • Experience working with a variety of HR systems and tools, and reporting.
  • Well-developed relationship development, project management, and communication skills.
